General Pants Co. Gift Place | Artist Collaboration - Antton Nuotio
The rise of digital technologies has meant that our engagement with the real world is in a state of ongoing contradiction – our attention is increasingly fragmented, yet our experiences are perpetually captured and permanently filed in the digital ether. In this age of content saturation, we are all curators seeking only the most resonant ideas and experiences. This presents us, with the challenge of how to command attention at the busiest and noisiest time of year without losing the substance, depth and meaning behind the brand.
We collaborated with Helsinki-based art and design duo formed by Anna Alanko and Antton Nuotio to wrap out physical and digital spaces and surrounding environments in a bold and colourful immersive artwork that captivates and sparks joy with our audience defining General Pants as ‘THE’ gifting destination during the Holiday period. Exploring form, texture and movement in digital space the pair combines digital and analog tools to create dreamy illustrations, installations and animations that burst with colour and ooze exuberant textures.
